A Guide for Anti-corruption Risk Assessment




The creation of regulatory guidance on the importance of an effective anticorruption compliance program has been stable and significant in recent years, and has attracted media attention given the size of the fines some companies have paid.


Effective assessment and mitigation of a company's corruption risk have been the targets of several recent agreements with regulatory agencies. This is highlighted in the OECD2's Guide to Good Practice for Internal Controls, Ethics and Compliance and the Guide issued to follow the UK Anti-Bribery Law. It is also a critical element of the United Nations Convention against Corruption, including the 10th principle of the UN Global Compact initiative
